How this process works?

Student in India submits a request for educational funds in AskNRI portal
(http://asknri.org) by providing all the required details.
The request will be in “Pending Verification” status.

AskNRI Portal assigns a volunteer in India to verify the authenticity of this request,
who is close to the student place and provide the request information.

Volunteer will meet the student and verifies all the information about the authenticity of the request.

Volunteer will submit all the verification documents to the portal and certifies the eligibility of the
request. The request status will go to “Verification Completed”.

NRI (Non-Resident Indians)/IP (Indian Professionals) who wants to support the specific request will provide
the funds to the organization and these funds will be sent to the volunteer who worked on this request.

Volunteer who did the verification of this request will provide the funds directly to the educational
institution. The request status will go to “Completed” and no more funds will be accepted for this request.
